It is characterized by narrow, lanceolate, dark green leaves with a leathery texture. It grows as a dense bush, reaching heights of 2-5 meters, but can also be grown as a small tree. Blooms in spring, producing small, yellowish-white, highly fragrant flowers, followed by small, black, olive-like fruits. DEREGISTRATION CONTINUES BELOW ⬇️⬇️
The garden yucca (Yucca filamentosa) is a very special species as a habitus: very short stem, made up of linearly lanceolate leaves, thick, up to 80cm long, rigid, straight, with filamentous edges, forming a large rosette, from the middle of which, in July-August, flowering stems 1.5-2m high appear. They end in large panicles (up to 1m) with numerous yellowish-white flowers, similar to large bells (6cm).
The garden yucca is a species resistant to frost and drought, it prefers warm, light, calcareous, permeable soils. It loves light but also tolerates semi-shade (it does not bloom). It is a species resistant to pollution.
Solitary specimens are planted, in groups of 3-5 plants, in rocks or in (pots).
